Richard Hutson served with American Founding Fathers during the American Revolution.

Richard Hutson was born on July 09, 1748 in Beaufort, South Carolina. His parents were William Hutson and Mary Woodward. He died on April 12, 1795 in Charleston, South Carolina, United States

His great nephew, Charles Woodward Hutson (1840-1936), typed his letters from the 1770's and they are housed in the Southern Historical Collection at UNC-CH in Chapel Hill, NC, Wilson Library. [1]
