I received this today from a woman in Owen County, Indiana, where the Hutton's lived. It was written by Moses H. Hutton. He was named as an heir to Martin Gillaspy, so this pretty much confirms that Moses H. Hutton's wife, Mary Gillaspy was the daughter of Martin Gillaspy. Martin was a minister and also married them. We have a lot of preachers in the family. > >Anyway, in a day when many people were illiterate or had very limited writing skills, Moses H. had a beautiful hand.
