Biography

Joseph Hutton was born in 1765. He obtained an M.A. (Master of Arts) degree from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. He was the minister of a Presbyterian congregation that assembled in Eustace Street Meeting House, Eustace Street, Dublin.

He married Mary Swanwick on 26 May 1788.

They lived first in Summer Hill (Summerhill), Dublin, and then moved in 1825 to "Fairfield" in Glasnevin, Dublin.

One of the Reverend Joseph Hutton's published works was entitled "Family Prayers".

He died in 1856 aged 90.
