Biography

Timothy Hutton was born on 24 November 1746 in New York.

He married 1) Jane M. McChesney. Together they became the parents of John Hutton and Samuel McChesney Hutton.

Timothy served as Lieutenant in Col. Marinus Willett's regiment of New York Levies 1775-1776 and also in the 3rd Albany Co., New York regiment under Col. Philip P. Schuyler. [1]

Jane died in 1781. [1]

He married 2) Elizabeth Deline on 13 Jul 1782 in Schenectady, New York. Together they became the parents of William Hutton (1783-1866), Christopher Hutton (1784-1788), Jannette (Jane) Hutton (1785-1844), George Hutton (1787-1869), Harriet (Hutton) Koons (1789-1852), Elizabeth Hutton (1791-1870), Christopher Hutton (1793-1850), Isaac Hutton (1795-1796), Hester Hutton (1797-1839), and Isaac Hutton (1799-1871).

Timothy died on 10 October 1824 in Schoharie Co., New York and was buried at Carlisle Cemetery in Carlisle, Schoharie County, New York.
