I am glad to hear you are interested in learning more about your family history. Are you planning on contributing to our Wikitree and adding your own research or are you wanting to search and use the forum? You are more than welcome to do so, it is free, and you don’t have to become a volunteer.

I'm Hetty Huussen, dutch from 1946 and try to find out, who was my biological father.

He was a canadian liberator of Holland. I found a 2-3 cousin (2nd is said) Rick. His mother was Ida Marie Richard(s) from Manitoba. This must be our link. Her father is Patrick Richards and mother Virginie Sayer.Both Métis. A son of them Sandy Richards 1911was in Holland with The Lake Superior Regt. If he was my father than my link must be my 1st cousin, so? Cannot find anything more about him. He died in a Lake I heard. Married? children? More familynames Chartrand, Roulette, Pangman. Which one of those families was in Holland during WWII. I did DNA family search by FamilyTreeDna.There was the link to this 2-3 cousin Rick. Don't know how to upload this to WikiTree. I'm retired,2 children,2 grandchildren
