Hello Robert,

During the winter, the Nordic Project performed check-ins, sent as a private message from your profile. You are one of those members who has not replied, and this is a last chance to get in touch and let me know if you like to continue as member in the Nordic Project.

Please answer this comment, and get in touch by sending me a private message. If we have not heard from you within a month you will be removed from the Nordic google group and your badge will be removed.

If you have not received any check-in emails, you might want to check that your email adress for WikiTree is one you actually still use.

Thank you!

Robert,

I found a Jewish Family I believe wanted the Jewish roots project to be aware of him. He’s also listed few places as notable.

Billie

Hi,

How do I join the Jewish Roots Project and get the badge for it on my profile? Also, is there a way to put the "... has Jewish Roots" sticker on a lot of profiles? Every family member that I currently have on WikiTree (going back to my 5x great-grandparents were all Jewish, and I would like to add the badge to all of them. Thanks, Seth

Hello, Seth

To join the Jewish Roots Project, all you need to do is ask to join. You just did! I’ll put a badge on your profile. Near the bottom of our Project page (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Jewish_Roots), you’ll see how to add the Sticker and/or the Category. Welcome aboard!

I received a pass to IAJGS 2020. Woot! The first film Children of the Inquisition is a great documentary about Sephardic Jewish history and their descendants in the diaspora.

Bob. thank you for letting me know. I'd welcome your help! The first thing I've gotta' know is what I"ll have to do to update Sallie Millard's page. She had 14 sons and daughters! So what do I have to do?

See my last post. Guess that why I have 12% Scandinavian DNA. I have your connection too, but would not be part of my 'Y' DNA, since its through mother.

Hey cousin

I just saw some research done on my Scots/Flemish ancestors. Seems that that line of Counts of Alost and Ghent in Flanders , were Counts of Holland before that, as their female line from Flanders married into and then carried the Countcy of Holland into Flanders. In fact they used the tittle in Flanders along with their local Alost and Ghent. Gilber de Ghent was a third son of the line. Companion to William of Normandy who had married his 1st cos. Was awarded 172 Manors for his service. His third son Walter de Lindisia on the Council of David I move to Scotland 1104. Founder of the Clan Lindsay. Walter took that name from the holding where he was living in Lincolnshire in his fathers holdings. In ancient times the 'Kingdom of Lindisia'. Now called LindsEy. Best Joseph
