Biography
Luella Alton Hyatt was born on August 26, 1896 in Parowan, Iron County, Utah, United States. She is the daughter of Herbert Smith Hyatt and Lucy Albena Gunn.
She was a nurse in Salt Lake City. She was the director of nursing at th Salt Lake General Hospital, and a graduate of University of utah College of Nursing. She was also editor of Utah Nurse Magazine and was voted Nurse of the Year in 1965.[2]
Luella passed away at an age of eighty-two on March 7, 1979 in Parowan. She is buried in the Parowan City Cemetery.[3][4][5]
