Biography

John was born 6 April 1656 at Newton, Massachusetts, the son of Jonathan Hyde and Mary French.[1] He was baptized 16 February 1661.

He was married to Hannah Jackson 7 April 1682 at Newton. They were the parents of Relief (1682-1740); Mary (1684-1709); John (1668-1760); and Timothy (1689-1756).[2]

He was a selectman for three years.[3]

John died 22 Sep 1738 at Newton.
