Biography

Hon. Edward Hyde was baptised on 1 April 1645 in Westminster, London, England. He was the third son of Edward Hyde, 1st Earl of Clarendon[1]. [2]Edward studied at Christ Church, Oxford and the Middle Temple. [3] Edward was nominated by his father as a candidate to Parliament. He was presumably unopposed and shortly after his 19th birthday on 16 May 1664, he entered Parliament. Despite his young age, he actively served and was on at least four committees.

Edward died unmarried on 10 Jan 1665 and was buried at Westminster Abbey. [4][5]
