Margaret, born in Hertfordshire, married a Christopher Smythe in 1540 in Hertfordshire and had a child with him in 1559. Smythe is said to have died in 1589 This is incompatable with Margaret who married Robert Moone in Devon or Dorset in c1551.
Margaret the wife of Robert Moone died as his wife and was buried in Dorset in 1603
The father of Margaret wife of Robert Moone is ___Hide of Devon in the visitation of 1623 and reported as d and coh. of Stephen Hyde of Devon, not Hertfordshire (haven't time this week to check the HOP sources but can access most)
My inclination is to unlink this profile from Stephen Hyde of Devon and from Robert Moone of Fleet (C Smythe of Herts needs researching but HOP says m Margaret, da. of John Hyde )
Please before creating new profiles, check and see if there is not already one created on WikiTree, we now have several duplicate profiles related to the Smyth/Smythe/Smith. If you feel that a new profile is warranted please present a source to back this decision. We are going to have to merge this duplicate profiles so that we can have one profile per person. Please when merging make sure that you are merging into the profile that has sources to back the information first, we can make other corrections as needed, but don't want to loose any sources. I realize that we still need sources for some of these profiles and will help research on these. Best Regards, Cheryl
