According to his grandson's biography in Williams. John was a schoolteacher and died suddenly while teaching; he was married to Elizabeth Stitely.[1]
An equity court case over son Jacob's estate says that John died in 1800, leaving wife Elizabeth and children John & wife Catherine, Mary, Catherine, William, and Jacob.[2]
