Elizabeth was born in 1753 in New Rochelle, New York.[citation needed]
William Schurman and Lybia Hyatt were married on 17 October 1778. The marriage was recorded in the Dutch Reformed Church records for Hopewell, Fishkill and Marbletown. Both were residents of Oswego.[1]
Elizabeth Hyatt died on 24 June 1843, aged 90 years, in Central Bedeque, Prince County, Prince Edward Island. She was buried in North Bedeque Cemetery, North Bedeque, Prince County, Prince Edward Island.[2]
