Biography

Seymour Noel Hyman was born on 24 April 1919. The 1920 census^[1] shows seven month old Seymour living with his family in The Bronx.

The 1940 census^[2] shows 20 year old Seymour living with his family stlii in The Bronx and his father is a cloathing salesman there.

Around 1950 Noel married Charlotte Mandell and in 1951 Charlotte gave birth^[3] to their son Jeffrey Ross Hyman, (Joe Ramone). Jeffrey went on to become a famous punk rock singer and was inducted^[4] into the Rock and Role Hall of Fame.

Seymour Noel Hyman passed away^[5] on 20 Oct 2000 in Eastchester, Westchester County, New York. Noel is buried^[6] at New Mount Zion Cemetery, Lyndhurst, Bergen County, New Jersey next to his famous son Joey Ramone.
