Biography

Ferdinand, son of Ferdinand Frederick Hynd & Elizabeth, was born on 30 December 1873 and baptised on 15 February 1874 at Free Church, Holytown, Lanark, Scotland.^[1]

Ferdinand's death (age 56) was registered in 1929 in the Bellshill district.^[2]

In the 1881 census Ferdinand (age 7), Scholar, was the son of Frederick Hynds in Clydesdale Terrace Front Row, Bothwell, Lanarkshire.^[3]

In the 1891 census Ferdinand (age 17), Shearer's Apprentice, was the son of Frederick Hynds at 12 Clydesdale Ter, Bothwell, Lanarkshire.^[4]

In the 1901 census Ferdinand (age 27), Iron & Steel Strip Sheater, was the head of household in Nassau, Lugar St, Old Monkland, Lanarkshire.^[5]
