Jean Baptiste, the son of Simon Pierre Hébert and Marie Louise Monbleau, was born and baptized, 26 June 1814, according to the parish records of Nativité-de-la-Prairie-de-la-Magdeleine, Laprairie: "Jean Baptiste né d'hier du légitime mariage de Pierre Hebert laboureur et de Rogère Rose Couture son épouse demeurant en cette paroisse. Le parrain a été Charles Hebert et la marraine Félicité Bourdeau."[1]
He died 9 August and was buried two days later: "Jean Baptiste Hebert de cette paroisse fils de Pierre Hebert et de Marie Rogère Couture ses pere et mere décédé d'avant hier âgé d'un mois et demi."[2] His grave can be found at Saint-Philippe-de-Laprairie Cemetery.[3]
