Biography

Sveinn was born in 1845. He was the son of Högni Árnason and Guðrún Helgadóttir.^[1]

He lived with his family in Reykjadalur, Hrunasókn, Árnessýsla^{[2][3][4][5][6]} until 1880^[7].

In the 1880 census he was living at Keflavík, Útskálasókn, Gullbringusýsla.^[8]

In 1880 Sveinn Högnason and Ólöf Ólafsdóttir were married at Útskálar church.^[9] They had 5 children, only one survived childhood.

In the 1890 census they were living at Bali, Útskálasókn, Gullbringusýsla.^[10]

He passed away in 1892.^[11]
