Biography
He is Idris al-Azhar ibn Idris al-Akbar ibn Abdullah al-Kamil ibn Hasan al-Muthanna ibn al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib.
Idris was born in August 0791, two months after the death of his father. He was the son of Idris ibn Abdullah. He passed away in 0828.
He is known as Idris II of Morocco, being the second ruler of the Idrisid dynasty in Northern Morocco. English Wikipedia calls him one of the best educated among the Idrisid sultans.
