Biography

James Henry Ide was born in 1877 at Woolwich, then in Kent. He was the son of George Ide and his wife Emma, born Emma Mould. [1] [2]

In 1881 James Henry Ide was living at 42 High Denmark Street in Middlesbrough in Yorkshire with his parents, George and Emma, and 2 of his brothers. (Another brother, George, was living at Chichester in Sussex.) His age was given as 3, implying a birth date in 1877 or 1878. His birthplace was given as Woolwich, Kent. [2]

In 1891 James was living at 6 Ann Street in Ratcliff in the East End of London with his parents and their other children. His age was given as 13, implying a birth date in 1877 or 1878. His birthplace was given as Woolwich. [3]
