Biography
Elizabeth was born in 1802. She was the daughter of John Ilderton and Mary Huggins. Elizabeth was baptised on 2 Feb 1803 at South Shields
She married James Burn, a Sea Pilot at St Pauls, Jarrow, Durham on January 9th 1823. Thomas Sheldon and Jane Dodds stood as their witnesses.
Elizabeth and James had 11 children in their marriage. Their sons all became Sea Pilots.
Elizabeth Burn died in 1864 aged 62 and is buried at South Shields.
