Biography
John was born in 1817. He passed away in 1871.
Note: When I established this profile he was attached as the spouse of Janet Martin". While it is clear that both these individuals existed and that a couple bearing their names did marry, (ref. Scotland's People: IMRIE, JOHN; MARTIN, JANET; 1856; 467 / 7; Dollar), I could find no evidence that would support the claim that this couple who married are the same John and Janet as listed in their individual profiles. This is left for someone with more resources that I to investigate and solve.
