Malene Ingebrigtsdatter Ljøen was baptized on 26 Aug 1764 in Sunnylven, Møre og Romsdal, Norway.[1]
Malene married widower Johannes Sjursen Nordang (1765 - 1832) on 16 Nov 1794 in Sunnylven.[2] Their children were:
- Ananias Johannesen (1795 - 1819)
- Peder Johannesen (1798 - 1870)
- Ingebrigt Johannesen (1801 - 1801)
- Ingebrigt Johannesen (1802 - 1803)
- Jon Johannesen (1804 - 1809)
- Malene Johannesdatter (1808 - 1830)
In the 1801 census, Malene (age 38) was the wife of Johannes Siursen at Nordang in Hjørundfjord.[3] She was in her first marriage and lived with her stepson Siur and sons Ananias and Peder.
She died on 20 Aug 1830 in Hjørundfjord aged 65.[4]
