1. Catherine's maiden name was Smith, not Ingersoll. 2. Her first marriage was to Wilfred Kirkland Ingersoll in 1882. 3. Catherine and Wilfred had a daughter Dorothea May Ingersoll in 1885. 4. Catherine married John A. Roberts as Mrs. Katherine Ingersoll in 1903.
Mrs. Catherine Roberts, wife of the late John Roberts, died at the Buffalo General hospital on Saturday, July 7th following an operation. She was 72 years of age. She was the mother of Mrs. Bert Webster of Corning, foster mother of Mrs. J. H. Butcher of Buffalo, Mrs. John L. Beach of Seville, Ohio, and Dr. Floyd Roberts of this village, and sister of Mrs. Mary Haselbauer of Corning, N.Y. She was a member of Niagara Chapter, Order Eastern Star. Funeral services were held from her late residence on East Main St., Tuesday afternoon, Rev. H. M. Wilson and Rev. R. L. Dieffenbacher officiating. Interment took place at Warsaw, N.Y.
