Respectfully, it looks like Torrey got this one wrong. The Sarah Haskit marriage occurred in 1702, after this Samuel was deceased six years, and four years after Sarah had remarried to Philip English. Please look at:

Massachusetts: Vital Records, 1620-1850 (Online Database: AmericanAncestors.org, New England Historic Genealogical Society, 2001-2016). https://www.americanancestors.org/DB190/rd/7793/537/140920447 Salem Marriages, p. 537

Samuel Ingersoll married Sarah Haskett who married 2nd Stephen English

This profile is attached to a spouse b. 1689 using a m. date of 1684. I've disconnected this spouse. I will see if I can locate another candidate.

In The Essex Institute Historical Collection, Volume 1, page 12 https://archive.org/details/essexinstitutehi01esseuoft/page/12 , it discloses that Samuel Ingersoll was born 6 Oct 1858, his wife Sarah was born 11 Dec 1665 and that they were married 28th Apr 1686. Their dau. Sarah was born 8 Apr 1686.

I believe Sarah (the dau.) is incorrectly entered as the wife of Samuel.
