It is not clear what Emma's last name was. Her son Claude listed his mother's maiden name as Emma Louisa Ingersoll. Son Walter listed it as Louisa Wallace (as recorded on the marriage license). Daughter Theda, as unknown. There is no record of a Emma/Louisa Wallace living in Rome, however Emma/Louisa is in the 1860&70 census living with a Mary Ingersoll.
