Della P. Ingersoll was born on 9 April 1881 in Springfield Township, Kalkaska County, Michigan, United States to William and Lucy (Elliott) Ingersoll. ^[1]

On 27 September 1898, Della married Albert Haskin, son of John Haskins and Harriet Sabine, in Fife Lake, Kalkaska County, Michigan, United States She was 18 and worked as a domestic. He was 23 and worked as a farmer. ^[2] Della and Albert had the following known children:
