THOMAS INGERSOLL was a son of Peter Ingersoll and Anna Severill. He was a soldier of the Revolution and the War of 1812.
He married Lydia Houlton Ingersoll [Dewey]. Lydia Houlton was born in 1757 and died in 1784.
He married second Hannah Joyner, born 1767. After this marriage, Thomas Ingersoll settled in Onondaga Co. (New York) near the Indian Reservation.
He passed away about 1844.
