Anthony Ingle was the son of Willis and Elizabeth Ingle. Anthony married (1) Mary E. ( )[citation needed] and their children included: Julia, unnamed infant daughter, Martha J., Nancy E., Sarah C. William W., Thomas T., Susie T., and Eliza. He married (2) M. Ellen ( )[citation needed] and their children included Gilbert M., Delie M., Grace, Maud, Willis A., Millie L., Amelia L., Cranston C., and Vernie E.
Anthony served the Confederacy during the Civil War. He enlisted in Company I, 48th Infantry Regiment Virginia on 18 Jun 1861 and was promoted to Full Corporal on 1 Nov 1863.[1]
