Lafe was born in 1885. He was the son of Isaac Ingle and Nancy Ruby. He passed away in 1974.
OBIT: Lafe Ingle, 88, retired farmer, died at 4:40 a.m. today at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, where he had been a patient the past six days. He was born Nov. 4, 1885 in Ollie, the son of Isaac Jefferson and Nancy Ruby Ingle and had lived here all his life. He was married to Susan McWilliams, July 17, 1918, in Ottumwa and she survives. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Daisy Hubbs of Des Moines, Mrs. Blanche Davis of Wellman, Mrs. Clara Curtis of Sigourney, and Mrs. Celia Barnes of Dunbar, Wis. He was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, and three brothers. The funeral will be Monday at 1:30 at the Ollie Baptist Church with the Rev. George Nehf officiating. Burial will be in the Ollie Cemetery. Fremont Funeral Chapel in charge of the arrangements.
