Biography

The Honorable James Inglis was born on 24 Nov 1845 and baptised in Edzell Free church on 11 Dec.

He wrote an account of life in his father's manse, called "Oor ain folk"[1]

He became a politician in Australia, and his biography is available on the Australian Dictionary of Biography [2]

He died childless in 1908 from kidney disease
