Biography
John Ingram shown on J A Ingram's family tree as being born 1745 and died in 1845, being a farmer in Aberdeen and marrying Jean Reid. Other references to him are made in C A Pittendreigh "Our Shetland Ancestors" and in The Ingrams of Unst. 1
The IGI March 1992 Aberdeen shows a John Ingram/Jean Reid marriage taking place 29 April 1770, in the parish of Tarland and Migvie (batch M112422 0030).
There is another Ingram/Reid marriage listed in IGI but date is 1782 so is not likely to be the correct one.
