John Ingram was born in Openshaw, Lancashire, England.

John Charles Ingram was born in 1885 ^[1] in Openshaw, Lancashire, England, the son of Thomas Ingram and Lilian Stokes.

When John was 25 he married Clara Elizabeth Jenkinson in 1910 in Chorlton, Lancashire.^[2] The couple had several children.

In 1939, John, a general labourer, was living in Elm Street, Manchester, Lancashire.^[3]

John died aged 55. His death was registered in 1941 in Manchester. ^[4]
