Biography

Orange House, Wellington College. Commissioned 1937 RMA, 9th Field Regiment RA. With BEF in France, returning via Dunkirk. Saw action in Madagascar. Killed in action at Irrrawady Crossing, Burma. C/o 19th (49th) Inkerman Battery RA. Buried in Rangoon. Posthumously awarded Military Cross for coolness under fire on three occasions on Imphal Plain.
