On 1 DEC 1721 Thomas Cockey, gent of Anne Arundel County, the guardian of Peasley Ingram, the orphan of John Ingram, deceased, transferred his guardianship to Henry Right and Richard Hampton because he thought they were more qualified to handle the orphans taking possession of his lands, and determining if anything needed repairs.[3]
In 1730 Peasley married Ruth, the daughter of Charles Hammond.[4] Their son John was born the next year.[5]
