Biography

Isaiah was born in 1703. He passed away in 1755.

Birth is an estimate.

He was possibly the son of Samuel Inman and Elizabeth ____ Inman. Samuel was the eldest son of Edward Inman Jr and Elizabeth Bennett Inman. (Some attribute Isaiah directly to Edward Jr and Elizabeth Bennett.)

His will was dated April 8,1753, and proved Feb 15,1755. He is likely the same Isaiah Inman that died Feb 2,1755 in Glocesster,RI.

He married, first, Abigail ____. It is possible she was a Smith, as Isaiah mentions a brother-in-law John Smith in his will.

He married, second, on Oct 14,1744 at Glocester,RI, Sarah Cutler. She was the daughter of John Cutler and Hannah Snow Cutler of Killingly,CT.

Children(by first marriage): Tabitha Inman Aldrich, Mary Inman Whipple, Lydia Inman Sayles, and Elisha Inman.

Children(by second marriage): Isaiah Inman Jr. Possibly others. (Isaiah Jr was born posthumously, and the unborn child is mentioned in his father's will.)
