Parental Note
According to the 1st source listed, the Baptism record, Andrew Innes is the father of Elizabeth. Not Hugh Innes [ https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Innes-414 ] According to the Citation/source of Hugh Innes, he died without issue! Therefore he and Margaret can not be the parents of Bettie.
Biography
Elizabeth (Innes) Mitchell was a Virginia colonist.
- Elizabeth, who used the name Bettie was married in 1690 to William Mitchel in Scotland.
Note
Since Bettie was married in Scotland, It stands to reason she was born in Scotland and not in America, though she migrated to Virginia at some point. Please see Cite of marriage Record.
