Andrew John Stow Innes, son of Robert Francis Innes, was born in Jamaica, schooled in England, settled in Canada 1973.
He began his career as a chartered accountant and ended it as a painter and multi-media artist in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. He paints for the sheer joy and challenge of it. In his own words, his paintings reflect, "an on-going attempt to distinguish the essential from the decorative and to discern the rhythms, patterns and geometry in nature.
