Cora Jane (Innis) Dewey was born on 13 April 1899 in Clinton County, Kentucky, United States, daughter of William Mattison Innis (1862–1934) and Martha Elizabeth (Riddle) Innis (1856–1934).[1]
Cora (16) married Eugene Edward Dewey Jr (20) on 14 July 1915 in Caldwell Co, Missouri. Their known children were:

- Thelma May (Dewey) Foster (1922–1999)
