In the 1880 census Josephine (age 23), At Home, was the single daughter of Fisher Irey in Hanover, Columbiana, Ohio, United States.^[4]

In the 1900 census Josephine (age 42) was the wife of Henry Garrigues in Salem, Columbiana, Ohio.^[5]

Josphine's father, Fisher Irey, age 86, was in an obituary on 25 March 1912 in Salem, Ohio, United States. He died 23 March 1912 in Winona. He was survived by his wife, they had been married for 62 years.^[6]
