Robert Anderson Irion was born 30 Jan 1770 in Culpepper, Virginia. He was the son of Philip Irion and Sarah Poindexter. He passed away in 1848 in Greenfield, Highland County, Ohio, United States. Robert was a soldier in the war of 1812. His residence in 1814-1816 was on Sugar Creek, five miles south of Washington Courthouse, the county seat of Fayette County, Ohio. He was a farmer and also a surveyor.
