Edward was bapt at St Georges, Hanover Sq. the son of Edward Ironside Anne Newman

Edward married Elisabeth Havercamp on 17 December 1758 at St Edmund the King with St Nicholas Acons, London, England, United Kingdom^[1].

Supercargo of the East India Company, based in London. Published "The History and Antiquities of Twickenham" in 1797

Inherited annuity of £50pa in 1746 Lived No 6 Sion Row, Twickenham. until 1780. then moved to King Street, opposite Cross Deep turning.

Drawings in Twickenham Reference Library Garfield Road.... and possibly Orleans House Gallery, Riverside, Twickenham.

He died on Jun. 20, 1803 in Twickenham, Greater London, England and was buried in Twickenham at St Mary Churchyard

Edward Ironside is most noted as a local historian. He published "The History and Antiquities of Twickenham" in 1797. He was an amateur artist of considerable skill.
