Biography

Harold was born about September 18, 1899 in New York.[1][2][3] He was the son of Charles Ironside and Rose Hanhart.[1][4]

He was a veteran of both World War I and World War II.[1][3] He was a Lieutenant commander in the United States Naval Reserve.[3]

In January 1920, he was enumerated twice on the census in California. He worked as an electrician at the navy yard.[5][6]

On 3 July 1926, Jessie L Harbine and Norman N. Ironside were married at Santa Rosa, Sonoma Coutny, California.[7][1][3][8][4][9]

In 1930, he was employed as a lineman.[10] His last occupation was as a District Superintendent for Pacific Gas and Electric Company.[1][11]

Harold died on Christmas Day 1963 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Stockton, California.[1][2] Jessie L. is shown as his wife on his military tombstone.[3]
