Bathia Ironside was born on February 13, 1818 in Kirktown, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, United Kingdom, daughter of James Ironside (1786–1824) and Elizabeth Reid (1783– ).^[1] She was baptised on February 13, 1818.^[1]

Her son was William Beedie (~1832–1904).

Bathia died on June 17, 1879 in Drums, New Deer, Aberdeenshire, aged 61.^{[2] [3]}
