Hattie was born in 1898. She passed away in 1957.
"Mrs Hattie I Jones - Mrs Hattie Irvin Jones 58 died at 10 pm Sunday at her home Route 4 Jonesboro In the Boones Creek Community. She was born in Fordtown and was a member of the Fordtown Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband Lon Jones Jonesboro: six daughters Mrs W T Johnson Johnson City, Miss Betty Jones, Miss Eula Jones Jonesboro, Mrs Billy J Stewart Kingsport, Mrs Orville Wexler Fordtown, Mrs Howard Roop Huntsville Ala, three sons Arthur M Jones Paul Va, Ernest Jones, and William J Jones Jonesboro: and one brother Roy Irvin Fordtown. She Is also survived by nine grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Tuesday In the Fordtown Baptist Church. The Rev Roy Shipley the Rev Belden Smith and the Rev A Monday officiated. Burial was In the Fordtown Cemetery"[1]
