Alpheus Lee Irvin was the son of Alpheus Irvin Sr. and Lucy Lee Case Allen, born in Iowa on 10 Feb 1884. His father was from Indiana or Iowa (Conflicts on records) and his mother's birthplace was Virginia.[1]
He married Bernice Harriet Phelps when they were both 19 years old, on June 17th, 1903 in Benton, Arkansas.[2]
They had two children, Pearl born in 1905 and Leland in 1907.
Info from his draft card shows he was a Cooper with Sinclair Oil Refinery in Coffeyville, Kansas. (Coffeyville. Kansas Oil Refining Co. 1905-1926). He made oil barrels. [3]
