Biography

The family historian notes that John was the son of Christopher Irvine, Laird of Bonshaw, and Margaret Johnston, daughter of the Laird of Johnston.[1]

Laird of Robgill.

There is little recorded on his life other than he died young, and before his father.

He had married, likely c. 1590, Mary Johnston, daughter of the Laird of Newbie. They had a son Christopher Irvine.
