Even though the merger has taken place, her name on the profile is still not correct! The name is being shown as it was before her marriage to her cousin with the same last name.
Find a Grave does have it displayed correctly. To see it:
It appears that Wikitree does not support displaying the LNAB and the married named if they are the same (a design flaw that should be corrected). Wikitree assumes that she wants to be known by her maiden name instead of her married name. Someone suggested a bypass, using a period after the married name so that Wikitree thinks they are two different names. It works, but now there is a period at the end of her name. It's the best I can do.
Irving-803 and Harris-49664 are not ready to be merged because: Her name is incorrect!!! Her name became Sarah Gilliss Irving (Harris) HARRIS when she married a cousin, Col. John Harris, III. So far, I have NOT been able to cause her name to display correctly.
So do you agree that the two profiles are the same person? It would appear that Irving-803 is erroneously using Sarah's mother's maiden name as her LNAB.
I added "Harris" as another last name to get "Sarah Gilliss Irving Harris aka Harris". I think that's as close as you can get.
After the merge, Irving-803 will lose it's "Irving" nomenclature.

Appreciate the explanation. What a shame that WikiTree cannot display her name correctly, but Find a Grave can!

"Sarah Gilliss Irving Harris Harris"
Since I have NOT been able to cause her name to display correctly, the powers that be need to step in and change it.
