Biography
Marietta Anna Irwin, daughter of Ann (Dixon) and William Irwin, was born on January 6, 1875 in Unionville in Markham Township, Ontario, Canada.[1][2] Her father was a farmer.[1]
At 27 years of age, Marietta married Arthur Hambly, 29, on June 11, 1902 in Vaughan Township, Ontario.[2][3] At the time, Arthur was a farmer living in King Township, while Marietta was a resident of Vaughan Township.[3]
Marietta and Arthur had a daughter, Merle Myretta Ethel Hambly, in 1905.[2][4]
They moved to the hamlet of Nashville in the Kleinburg area of Vaughan Township in approximately 1931.[5]
Marietta died from coronary thrombosis and an embolism in the right femoral artery at 59 years of age on December 4, 1934 in Nashville.[2][5] Her husband was the informant for her death.[5] She was buried in Nashville Cemetery on December 6, 1934 .[2][5]

Her name on her birth record was recorded as Marietta Anna.[1] In her adult years, her name on various records was recorded as Myretta Annie.[3][2][5]
