Bertha (Isaac) Thomas was born in Lancashire, England.

Bertha was born in Bootle, Lancashire, England, in 1888. Her parents were Edgar Isaac, and Sarah Dumbell. Bertha was the last of four children. Bertha's mother, Sarah, passed away in 1903. It appears Bertha lived with her father and sister until her marriage in 1907.

Bertha married Owen Robert Thomas on May 20, 1907, in Liverpool, Lancashire, England. Owen was ten years Bertha's senior. Bertha and Owen would have four children. Owen died in 1924. Bertha and her children Bertha, Edith, and Louisa, appeared in the 1939 Register residing at 3 Blossom Street, Bootle, Lancashire, in the household of her father Edgar Isaac. Her occupation "Unpaid domestic Duties".

Bertha passed away on November 23, 1958, in Walton Hospital, Liverpool, Lancashire, England. Her death was registered in Liverpool North.
