Isaac Alfred Isaacs was born on 6 August 1855 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, the son of Rebecca Isaacs and Alfred Isaacs.[1]
He married Daisy Jacobs on 18 July 1888 at St Kilda, Victoria.[2] Their children were:[1]
Sir Isaac Alfred Isaacs GCB GCMG PC died at his home in South Yarra, Victoria, in the early hours of 11 February 1948, at the age of 92. The Commonwealth Government accorded him a state funeral, which was held on 13 February, and he was buried in Melbourne General Cemetery after a synagogue service. [1]
