Biography

John was born in 1841 to parents John and Ann. He was christened in Wigton on October 31 1841.

In 1851 and 1861 John was with his parents and siblings in Oulton. ^[1]

In 1871 John was with his parents, working as a husbandman. ^[2]

In 1881 John was single and was living and working with his parents in Oulton. ^[3]

John married Mary Magnay (nee Bainbridge) in 1887. ^[4]

In 1891 John and wife Mary were running the Greyhound Inn in Oulton, Mary's children Mary and William Magney were living with them. ^[5]

In 1901 John, Mary, Mary and William were in Oulton. John was a farmer. ^[6]

John died in 1902.
